Self Help Group (SDG)

Objective:
To alleviate the economic challenges faced by needy women by supporting them in establishing self-help groups.
Implementation:
The project provided intensive business and savings training to economically vulnerable women, helping them form savings and credit groups. These groups enabled the women to start small businesses and become financially independent.
Outcome:
Economically vulnerable women received comprehensive basic business and savings training, allowing them to form savings and credit groups. As a result, these women became self-supportive by starting various small businesses, improving their financial stability and overall quality of life.
Promoting Youth Engagement in peace building

Objective:
To increase participation in peace and security matters and improve economic opportunities for women, youth, and persons with disabilities (PLWDs) in post-conflict areas.
Implementation:
The project aimed to engage women, youth, and persons with disabilities in critical discussions and decision-making related to peace and security. It also focused on providing targeted programs to improve economic opportunities, specifically designed to uplift young women and PLWDs in post-conflict settings.
Outcomes:
- Outcome 1: There was a noticeable increase in the participation and leadership of women, youth, and PLWDs in peace and security-related discussions, ensuring their voices were heard and considered in decision-making processes.
- Outcome 2: The project successfully enhanced economic opportunities for youth, particularly young women and PLWDs, in post-conflict areas. This empowerment allowed these groups to rebuild their livelihoods and contribute to community development.
